What is Luna And The Stars?
Luna and the Stars is a premier gifting service offering unique star naming and zodiac constellation star slices. Each name is officially recorded in the International Institute for Cosmic Naming (IIFCN) database.
What is Included?
Choose from a variety of designs for your personalized Print@Home certificate. For an additional fee, we can send you a high-quality printed certificate (coming soon). We also offer special animated tours to personalize your gift. Upload personal video messages and photos to create a personalized 3D slideshow for your loved ones.
What is “Name a Star”?
With “Name a Star,” you can select and name a star from thousands of options. Personalize your certificate with a unique message to make it even more special.
What are “Zodiac Slices”?
We offer slices of stars from the 12 zodiac constellations. Choose your star and property size to receive a personal certificate. Your name will be forever linked with one of the brightest stars in the universe and its zodiac sign.
How Do I Get the Certificate?
Download your Print@Home certificate immediately after purchase. For an upgrade, we will soon offer a high-quality framed certificate printed on premium paper.
How Do I Find My Star?
Your certificate includes coordinates with detailed instructions on locating your star in the night sky. We also provide a QR code to find your star in the digital universe of Luna and the Stars. Currently we are developing a free App for iOS and Android which guides you to your star.
Will the Star be Named Officially?
Each star is registered with the International Institute for Cosmic Naming (IIFCN). You can find your star on IIFCN.org and our website.
What is the IIFCN?
The International Institute for Cosmic Naming (IIFCN) is dedicated to naming intergalactic objects. We are the only non-governmental organization authorized to enter names into the database, alongside national space agencies like NASA and ESA.

You will have instant access to our dashboard where you can name the star, write a dedication, download the certificate, and upload photos and videos for our interactive 3D tour. Our ceremonies are held quarterly at various sacred places in the US.
